Robert Liatti, president of Liatti & Associates Insurance Brokers, a DVBE Enterprise located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, announced today a facility to provide insurance coverage on a “per job” basis for contractors bidding work for Governmental Entities. “Our exclusive program has been designed to assist contractors in taking advantage of recent State and Federal laws and rulings,” said Mr. Liatti. “These rulings are specifically designed to promote favorable consideration by state and federal agencies to contractors availing themselves of the Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise Act and will result in considerable savings to the contractors and their governmental entity customers.” Mr. Liatti has had extensive meetings in Sacramento with CalTrans, the City of Sacramento and others and with local officials including The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. “We have received universal support from public entities throughout the state,” continued Mr. Liatti, “and all are eager to work with us in encouraging contractors to qualify under the DVBE Act and bid for work.” A Vietnam Veteran, Mr. Liatti has long been a prominent figure in the drive to achieve recognition for service men and women and has worked tirelessly to provide advantages to those injured in the service of our country.
